WELCOME TO THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

Sunday School Registration

“Coming together is a beginning,

Keeping together is progress,

Working together is success”

Dear Saint George Sunday School Families,

We pray this finds you all well and safe!

We are pleased to advise you that with the guidance of Father John, the Sunday school’s curriculum for 2021-2022 has been amended to better meet the needs of our students.

The Sunday School will remain focused on our continued mission to help mold the lives of our children in the Orthodox Christian Faith by the Orthodox teachings of the Holy Scriptures and Traditions with the consciousness to live a Christ-centered life through worship, service, and fellowship.

While we are fully aware of the constant fluidity of the COVID guideline requirements on both the Federal and Local levels, it is our goal and plan to begin “in-person” classes starting September 12, 2021.  Sunday school students will attend Divine Liturgy with their families, listen to the Sermon, and following Holy Communion will quietly proceed to their assigned classroom.

We are currently enrolling students from PreK to High School.  In order to accommodate all students into appropriate class groups, we are asking that you please complete the registration form by clicking the link provided.  Your prompt attention in completing the registration form will help our efforts in providing sufficient staff to meet the needs of all our students.

The success of the Sunday school is not measured by monetary donations but by the strength of our partnership with children, parents, parishioners, and school staff.  Your commitment in bringing your children is the most important link to our success.  One without the other is a failure!

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our church office at 202.723.5335 or email Rose Fakhoury at sundayschool@saintgeorge.org.

In Christ,

Your St. George Sunday School
